About Me

I'm Alastair Hill — a coach and guide who helps people resolve anxiety, anger, and move through periods of important personal growth.
My work is shaped by both professional training and a deeply lived personal journey. I bring everything I've learned to help others find their way.
How it All Began ...
In June 2008, the day after I sat my final exam at university, I opened the pages of a book called Frogs Into Princes. The book told stories of how you could help people transform anxiety, depression, and other issues through carefully listening and applying the right tools — I was captivated. Since then, I've never lost my fascination for how people learn, grow and change. The journey continues to this day.
I’ve spent over 15 years supporting people through personal change — not only with anxiety, anger, and personal growth, but also with the resolution of trauma. In 2018 I joined the team at Rock2Recovery — a UK-based charity — where I've delivered over 4,500 sessions supporting current and former members of the British military, police, fire, and ambulance services. I draw from powerful models like NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) and Cognitive Hypnotherapy, but what makes my work unique is the integration of my own method — something I call Data Point Coaching.
My professional journey has run parallel with a deep personal one. I experienced a serious neurological illness early in life — a condition called encephalitis — which left me profoundly disconnected from myself and the world, unable to make clear sense of what I was perceiving, thinking or feeling. In my twenties, I began to find ways to come back to myself. My journey began with tools like NLP and hypnosis. Over time, this expanded into a deep meditation practice, and eventually into the transformative work of NARM, an approach I have trained in and fully integrated into my coaching.
I love the personal growth journey and living a better life each day. I am also a martial artist and deeply enjoy learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I care about helping people reconnect with themselves and live more satisfying lives — not by turning personal growth into another source of pressure — but by creating an environment where their natural ability to grow and develop can come forward.
My work is about helping you find some important pieces of the puzzle — and travelling with you for a while as you discover your own way forward.
